3rd Annual Blogust Challenge

Can you believe it's August already!? This time last week, I was sitting beachside and now, I’m getting ready to finish my 38th trip around the sun, gearing up for my second year back in the classroom, and hosting my 3rd annual Blogust challenge!

Call me crazy, a little self-indulgent, or whatever you like, but I always look forward to my birthday month. For me, it’s equal parts celebrating the blessing of turning another year older and finding fresh motivation to make this upcoming year count even more than the last.

I’ll be honest: this summer has been one of the most difficult seasons I’ve faced in a long while (it makes so many other up-and-down times in my life look embarrassingly tame). But while the sun is slowly setting on summer, I’m using this last month of the season to soak up every single golden hour glimmer... and prepare my heart to launch into autumn with gratitude, peace, and hope.
