Friday 3-2-1 Reflection #2

Friday 3-2-1 Reflection KW38 Blogust 2026

And just like that, the first week of school is officially in the books! The house has gone from chaotic summer energy to that quiet, post-first-week stillness, and I am sitting here taking a deep, grateful breath. Welcome back to The Friday 3-2-1 Reflection! Taking a moment at the end of a busy week to pause, count our small wins, and align our hearts for the week ahead makes all the difference.

Grab a warm cup of coffee, settle into a cozy spot, and let’s dive into this week’s glimmers, snapshots, and intention!

3 Glimmers
Nature’s Lullaby: Enjoying a lovely summer storm the night before the kids started school. It was so peaceful and soothing that I didn't even need to turn on my usual "storm ambience" sound machine to stay fast asleep!

First-Day Joy: Elora's radiant smile when I picked her up after her first day of school. It absolutely melted my heart and made my whole day.

Tabletop Laughter: Sitting around the dinner table laughing with my husband and kids. After a long week of transitions, that simple moment put everything right back into perspective for me. God is so good!

Enjoying: I am currently soaking up every single second of my quiet morning and afternoon alone time while the family is at school. The introvert in me is feeling deeply refreshed and amazing!

Planning: I’ve been on a roll getting everything organized and prepped for my return to work next month. I forgot just how exciting and full of fresh energy the beginning of the school year can be!

🎯 1 Intent for the Week Ahead
Pray FIRST! I read a quote this week that stopped me in my tracks: "Underreact in person, overreact in prayer." That is exactly how I want to handle stress and uncertainty moving forward. As a highly sensitive person, my emotions can easily take the wheel if I let them. Choosing to pause and give my worries to God first won't just help me remain calm, it gives me the space I need to process what's happening and make level-headed decisions rooted in peace.

Taking a few minutes every Friday to reflect on where God is working in the quiet corners of our days is such a gift. As we head into the weekend, I hope you find time to rest, recharge, and celebrate your own small wins!

Now I’d love to hear from you: What is ONE glimmer from your week, or an intention you’re setting for the days ahead? Drop it in the comments below!
