Welcome back to another day of Blogmas! As the chaos of the holiday season starts to wind down, I’ve been sitting by the tree reflecting on my '37 before 38' list. If there’s one thing Blogmas teaches me every year, it’s that time moves fast—but God is never in a rush. As I work through my 37 goals before I hit 38, I’ve had to remind myself of one very important truth: There is still time.
I promised myself I’d stop waiting for 'perfect' to start living, so today I’m pulling back the curtain. From the progress on my chaos garden to where Danny and I stand on our adventure dates, here is an honest look at how I’m doing on my journey to 38!

#27. Create my dream home, starting with finally updating my bathroom.
#28. Treat myself to regular spa days!
#33. Learn to become a morning person again if I can't sleep in!
#34. Stop being so hard on myself, and speak kindly about myself in front of my children.
#36. Wear the dress, do the thing, use all the stickers - stop waiting for "perfect" and be present right now!
Looking at this list, I’m reminded that these 37 things aren’t just chores or checkboxes; they're invitations to live more fully. Some days I’m crushing it and others I’m just trying to remember to speak kindly to myself in front of the kids. And honestly? Both are wins. As I look toward the spring and the goals still waiting for their turn, I’m choosing to swap my worry for prayer. It’s easy to look at the 'in progress' section and feel like I’m behind, but then I remember: God isn't finished with me yet. This year is about more than just a clean attic or a new dishwasher. It’s about the heart work of learning to be a woman who trusts the timing of her life.
Thank you for walking this path to 38 with me. I’ll be back tomorrow with more Blogmas magic, but until then, I’m going to go hug my kids, maybe practice a little Spanish, and rest in the fact that there is still so much time for beautiful things to happen. If you’re working through your own list of goals or just trying to make it through the holiday season in one piece, remember: stop waiting for 'perfect' and just be present. Wear the dress, use the stickers, and give yourself some grace. We’re all works in progress, and I’m so glad I get to share my 'becoming' with you.
