What is the story behind why you started your blog?
I started this blog as a creative space to document daily life and share my love for seasonal challenges like Blogust, Blogtober, and Blogmas. It’s been my favorite creative outlet through every season!

What is the biggest lesson you learned during your 37th year?
Returning to teaching preschool after 13 years as a stay-at-home mom taught me that I am capable of navigating big transitions with confidence.

What does your ideal morning look like before the rest of the house wakes up?
A quiet house lit by soft candlelight, piping hot coffee in a gorgeous mug, and a peaceful session with my Bible and bullet journal before anyone else is awake.

What is one piece of advice you would give to your 20-year-old self?
Trust the timing of your life. Every season, especially the quiet ones at home raising young kids, serves a purpose.

What is a song or playlist that immediately puts you in a good mood?
Anything 90s or 2000s pop and Eurodance. Shakira or Ace of Base instantly lifts my mood! But there is one track that's sure to get me pumped up... Technotronic's 1989 Belgian Techno anthem Pump Up the Jam!

How do you anchor yourself when a week feels overwhelming or busy?
Resetting my space helps me clear my head. Journaling my big emotions. Or blasting echnotronic's 1989 Belgian Techno anthem Pump Up the Jam!

What is a favorite family tradition or seasonal ritual you look forward to every year?
I'm all about family traditions; I can't pick just one!

Beach vacation, lakeside cabin, or mountain retreat?
With the fam: beach vacation, every single time! Just me and Danny? Take me to a cabin in the mountains, please!

What’s one prayer you’ve seen answered in an unexpected way?
Finding such smooth transitions, deep joy, and purpose stepping back into the classroom after over a decade at home.

What is your go-to way to unwind after a long day?
Sipping an ice-cold Raspberry Sherbet Olipop and rewatching a favorite childhood film.

If you could only read one genre for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Gothic Romance.

Canva for designing workbooks and printables, paired with my bullet journal.

What’s a goal or intention you’re excited to set for this personal new year?
Maintaining my daily health rhythms and staying present for every milestone with my family.

What is one piece of creative advice for someone wanting to start a new project?
Don't wait for perfection; just start small where you are and build momentum step-by-step.

Verses that remind me to walk in grace, trust the process, and stay grounded in daily peace.

How do you prefer to spend the final weeks of August before routines reset?
Soaking up every bit of summer sun, prepping for Blogtober (yes, already!), and enjoying lazy afternoon quiet time.

What’s a simple pleasure that never fails to make you smile?
Bird watching.

Design! Bringing ideas to life visually in Canva is my happy place.

Laughing and playing on the beach with Team Wesley!

New work clothes or a special piece of jewelry (gifts are definitely my love language!).

90s/2000s hits, Enya for focused relaxation, Shakira and Inna because they never fail to deliver hits, and Technotronic's 1989 Belgian Techno anthem Pump Up the Jam when I need high energy!

My husband surprising me with brunch out and shopping with my Momma!

What is one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
My wild music taste. I can transition seamlessly from listening to Enya straight to Rammstein!

Nostalgic 90s TV shows like So Weird, peaceful rain sounds, or Celtic instrumental tracks.

What are you most looking forward to in this next season of life?
Stepping into age 38 with clarity, watching my kids thrive in their next school years, and launching new creative blog projects.
