8:00 a.m.
My alarm went off at 7:00 a.m. but my littlest babe had an upset tummy all night, so we didn't get out to church this morning. Instead, I let her sleep in and prayed that she would be feeling better. After kissing her curly little head, I got up to put a pot of coffee on and enjoy the peace and quiet before day started.
9:00 a.m.
By 9 o'clock I was working on my second cup of coffee, doing a little browsing on Pinterest, and getting a load of towels started in the washing machine. Since I didn't have to fix my hair or get dressed for church, I was still in my pajamas, but I wasn't about to lounge around all morning. After getting in some morning cuddles after Elora woke up, she went off to play with her Barbie dolls and I started making a mental list of what I would accomplish for the day!

10:00 a.m.
I made my bed and put the load of towels into the dryer and started another load of clothes in the washing machine. I then put my very first lesson plans into my teacher planner for my first week of teaching preschool coming up! I also designed a few activities on Canva to use and put the finishing touches on my first class newsletter!

11:00 a.m.
I needed to take a break from all of the planning for a bit, so I sat down to bird watch for a bit. I have to feed my birds several times a week now, but I love seeing them at the feeder everyday so it's totally worth it! While I was taking a break I also went ahead and finished the Daily Tidy level on one of my favorite games, A Little to the Left. If you like cleaning and organizing, this game is for you! Who would have thought I'd be playing a game where I had to clean up crumbs and organize junk drawers!
12:00 p.m.
I made rice and bean burritos for lunch! I was super hungry since I forgot to eat breakfast. I always wash dishes after lunch, too, and dream of the day that I can get my dishwasher fixed! I watched an episode of Superstore on Hulu while I cleaned up.

1:00 p.m.
On stay-home days, I do not try to look presentable, but here's a selfie to prove that I was actually taking photos on the hour haha! I put my final load of laundry into the washing machine and made an iced coffee as a little pick-me-up before getting back to work on things for my classroom.

2:00 p.m.
Time flies when you're laminating cubby labels! Daniel designed them, I printed them out, cut them out to laminate, and cut them out a final time for the finished product. This was the only project I had time to complete because it was getting close to time for me to head to the kitchen for some meal prepping for the coming week!

3:00 p.m.
I promised the girls that I would make pumpkin bread for their lunches this week. This is my favorite pumpkin bread recipe that I shared last Blogtober. After I put the bread in the oven, I washed another sink full of dishes and started packing school lunches.
4:00 p.m.
I was still cutting fruit and packing up the kids' lunch items by the time 4 o'clock rolled around. After yet another sink full of dishes were washed, I escaped the kitchen for a bit to fold all three loads of laundry from earlier. By the time I finished folding everything, it was time to head back into the kitchen to cook dinner.

5:00 p.m.
I haven't made fajitas in a hot minute, so I was prepping the peppers and onions when my timer went off to snap my last photo for today's post. I spent nearly three and a half hours in the kitchen Sunday night, so once the dinner dishes were washed I was pretty happy to sit in my recliner and write and edit my blog posts before the bedtime routine chaos ensued.
Although it was a pretty uneventful day, I felt very productive and prepared for Monday. I've got quite a lot coming up this week, so I spent the rest of my Sunday night writing out my Blogust posts for this week so that I can keep up with my birthday challenge (I hate feeling behind!). Thanks for letting me share my day with you! I'll be back tomorrow with more Blogust for you, Reader!
