It's "I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers" time of year! I've been looking forward to autumn for months, and it has finally arrived. Fresh pumpkins decorate the house, and baskets of mums sit on my front step to celebrate its much-anticipated arrival. I'm celebrating every fallen leaf as if it's a piece of confetti God is covering the earth with. The rich palette of warm browns, oranges, and yellows is a welcoming retreat from the bright greens of summer.
I started participating in Blogtober back in 2010 and have looked forward to it every year since. This will be my third year in a row taking on the October blogging challenge right here on my blog. If you're new around here, welcome! If you're a returning reader, hello again! I can't wait to get back into writing consistently this month and share all things autumn with you.
As always, I've been planning and preparing for this time of year since June. Here's what you can expect over the next four weeks. Of course, things can change at the last minute, but I plan to keep this page updated so you can bookmark it and come back each day for a fresh autumnal post!
Happy reading, and please enjoy this year's installment of Blogtober!
