This year brings a monumental shift: I'm returning to the classroom! From a young age, God planted a deep passion for teaching in my heart, leading me to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. For the past 13 years, I've been incredibly blessed to be a stay-at-home mom, but now, I feel God calling me back to what truly feels like a mission field. My prayer is simply, "Send me, Lord!" I hold firm to the belief that He has great plans for all of us, and I'm trusting He's guided me to this new classroom so I can share His gospel and nurture each student as they prepare to blossom into future kindergartners. Much of my August Aesthetic is, fittingly, inspired by my new title: teacher!
I've also incorporated some powerful Bible verses into my vision board to help me lean into this month with unwavering confidence. They're a beautiful reminder that God isn't finished with me; His goodness is constant, and there's always time to impact the world. This transition back to work feels a bit daunting, yet the complete peace in my heart confirms it's the right move. Even when anxious, intrusive thoughts about not being good enough try to creep in, that overwhelming peace washes over me, leaving me with so much joy. I haven't felt this kind of profound peace in years, and for that, I can only say, "Praise God!"
